Doncho’s Café located within Virginia Home and Garden is just a short drive north of CBD and is a family owned and operated business. Doncho’s Café is renowned for gourmet coffee and delicious breakfasts and lunches.
Café Manager
We are looking for an experienced Café Manager for Doncho’s Café. The successful applicant must have experience, both as a manager and a barista, have a friendly personality and a high level of communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities and Duties of successful candidate:
- Manage café inventory, including stock ordering
- Develop and implement policies and procedures
- Effectively plan and manage weekly rosters
- Recruit new team members if required
- Induct, train, lead and develop a highly effective FOH team
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Deliver amazing customer service
- Assist with creating brand recognition
- Manage and maintain all WH & S requirements
As the Café Manager you will be expected to work with your team, offering a “hands on” support to ensure the café operates efficiently, maximising productivity and profitability.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years hospitality management experience
- Formal barista training or proven long term experience
- Current Responsible Persons Badge and Responsible Service of Alcohol
- A passion for the hospitality industry
- Leadership and team management experience
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills

- Café Hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm, Saturday 8am- 5pm and Sunday & Public holidays 9am- 5pm
