As a commercialised business unit within the Department of Energy and Climate, QFleet is the Queensland Government's centralised fleet owner and manager. Our role and value to government is based on our capacity to aggregate the Queensland Government fleet, enable economies of scale and provide a centralised pool of expertise in fleet management.
QFleet is committed to client service excellence by focusing on delivering an integrated package of flexible fleet management services and value-adding solutions reflecting Queensland Government policy and supporting the delivery of government services and programs to the community.
Reporting to the Fleet Leasing Consultant, your contribution represents QFleet at an operational level providing customers with timely, efficient and personalised assistance.
Key duties and responsibilities of this role include;
Daily administration of allocated business unit tasks including, the use of information and operational systems, customer and supplier enquiries, motor vehicles and related systems, reporting and compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
Assist customers in the understanding fit-for-purpose vehicle selection, processing of additional and replacement vehicle requests, analysing and applying appropriate lease terms to optimise lease utilisation, and compliance with government policies.
Assist with maintaining QFleet's relationship with agencies to help achieve our customer's goals and meeting QFleet's strategies and targets.
Effectively utilising time to prioritise completion of important tasks and complete the allocated workflow tasks of the role to the standards specified and as directed.
Act and communicate in a professional and timely manner to all stakeholders in line with code of conduct expectations.
Maintain rapport with stakeholders and create strong relationships within government agencies, external customers and suppliers, attending forums and events.
Actively support whole of government strategic policy initiatives including environmental, electric vehicles, mobility and any other relevant polices within Queensland Government and QFleet.
Appropriately applying Workplace Health and Safety principles and practices whilst performing all duties and responsibilities including actively reporting WH&Sissues and complying with processes and procedures.
Actively contributing to QFleet and the customer's success through participation in other projects and activities as required by the business in line with the skills, abilities and delegations required by this role.
