Committed to global sustainability, continuous improvement and the ongoing evolution of the Kia brand, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Fleet Technical Officer.
Reporting to the National Emergency Service and Fleet Technical Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Fleet Department nationally. This role would be ideal for a tech savvy, car enthusiast with Customer Service experience.
Key Accountabilities:
- Attend to general enquiries and provide technical advice daily to fleet customers nationally.
- Proactive communication with fleet customers to keep them informed of repair/parts status.
- Liaise with Dealers to effectively resolve any day-to-day issues across the network between KIA Australia, Dealer & Customer.
- Maintain and assist with recall co-ordination to ensure a smooth outcome for large fleets in a timely manner.
- Liaise with Field Technical staff internally to resolve any escalations raised by customers to ensure best practice and outcomes for the customer as a priority.
- Continual assistance in the sourcing of replacement parts in a Vehicle Off Road situation that may require priority investigation.
- Investigate and advise on escalated enquiries between dealers and fleet customers when required.
- Occasional field visits to fleet customers, dealers and suppliers when required.
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Qualified Motor Mechanic.
- Minimum 6 years' experience within a dealership environment and full understanding of dealer operations (Service, Parts, Sales)
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Exposure to or experience in Importer/Manufacturer or related technical industry.
- Experience with Kia/Hyundai product, ideal.
- Exceptional organisational Skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications.
- Strong customer focus.
- Ability to work independently whilst meeting targets and KPI’s.
- Ability to travel interstate when required.
