Job description

This highly respected National Mid-Tier firm is looking for an intermediate Legal Secretary who enjoys variety to join their Float team! You will get to utilise your Legal Secretary experience in a range of practice areas that include; Employment, Corporate Commercial, Commercial Disputes, Insurance, Public Law etc. Reporting directly to HR you will have the support of your lovely manager and fellow Float Legal Secretaries. 


About the role: 

The duties in this role will depend on which team you are allocated to but in general will include: 

  • Completing end of month billing 
  • Diary and email management
  • Open and closing files
  • Archiving 
  • Compiling briefs and preparing court docs
  • Proof reading - track changes and edits 
  • Track changes and edits to documents
  • Updating the CRM 
  • Managing expenses 
  • General admin duties 
About you: 
  • 3+ years Legal Secretary experience
  • Feel confident with Billing and Document Management systems (ideally have used Aderant)
  • Enjoy variety and have a happy to help nature
  • Pride yourself on building strong professional relationships
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills 
  • Australian Citizen 
  • Law students if you can work full-time and have at least 2 years of studies remaining this role could work for you
