About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join the ABC on a part-time ongoing basis, with the option of a flexible work environment, which includes working from home.
The FOI Coordinator reports to the Senior FOI Officer and provides high-level support in a tight knit team. The FOI team processes incoming Freedom of Information requests received by the ABC and undertakes other statutory functions.
Tasks include assisting with legal research, regulatory and reporting requirements, redacting and organising documents, drafting and proofreading correspondence, maintaining stakeholder relationships, file management and ad hoc tasks.
About You
You will have highly developed administrative and organisational abilities, with experience in a legal, regulatory, or a government environment an advantage.
You will have the ability to share the responsibilities of the role with another part-time employee and show initiative, complementary legal and general research experience, and analytical skills.
You will be accomplished at planning, prioritising and managing competing tasks and deadlines. You will be proficient in using and learning technology and systems, with a high attention to detail.
You will have demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills, including a customer service ethos and the ability to establish and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders whilst maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
A demonstrated ability to apply established criteria to the management of a high volume of information, and identify process improvements, is an advantage.
