About the role
Rydges Bankstown is a 120 room, 4 star hotel located on the Hume Highway in Bass Hill. The property features a restaurant, bar, and conferencing facilities.
Due to an internal promotion, Rydges Bankstown is looking for a fun and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Manager to join our dynamic and successful Team!
As a Full Time Food and Beverage Manager you will be responsible for the daily operations of our hotel restaurant, bar and overseeing the C&E dept, as well as exceeding guest expectations at every interaction.
Skills & experience
- A strong knowledge of kitchen operations, Food and Beverage and guest service.
- Experience managing restaurant, bar and conferencing & events operations.
- Experience with IVvy desirable.
- Achieve budgeted revenues, control expenses, payroll costs, ordering stock & maintaining hotel par levels and maximise profitability within all areas of Food and Beverage outlet(s).
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership skills that are second to none.
- Experience in training and developing staff
- The role would suit an experienced F & B Supervisor ready to take the next step in their career.
