Aligned Leisure is a 100% owned subsidiary of the Richmond Football Club, established as a vehicle to manage the operations of Richmond’s health, fitness and leisure business activities. The Food and Beverage Coordinator will coordinate the food and beverage services for the Bay Pavilions and Shire Pools. They are responsible for the food and beverage services across Eurobodalla, including staff development, customer service, menu design, stock control, financial performance and compliance.
The Coordinator will lead a team of food and beverage attendants that will deliver high-quality service and build relationships with customers, leading to repeat visits and transactions. They will work with other teams to maximise sales opportunities. The Coordinator will ensure products are effectively promoted to customers, maximising revenue.
They will be relentless in delivering outstanding service, exceeding our customers' expectations in every transaction and building quality relationships with customers. They will take pride in our food and beverage services, ensuring that all areas are well stocked and presented. They will ensure regular cleaning of all preparation, serving, and customer areas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Food and Beverage operations
• Lead the food and beverage services across the Bay Pavilions and Shire Pools.
• Implement delegated responsibilities under the strategic services plan and annual business plans, including the Sustainable Living initiatives.
• Design and update menus for all food and beverage services.
• Coordinate supply relationships.
• Manage stock ordering and product levels, minimising waste.
• Coordinate staff training, inductions, rosters and other HR processes.
• Monitor cost control, pricing and profitability margins across all product lines.
• Provide monthly reports on the food and beverage performance.
• Actively seek customer feedback on services, menus and food and beverage quality.
• Ensure customer feedback is followed up promptly.
• Setup and maintain an accurate point of sale system and stock control system.
• Maintain compliance with food safety and liquor licensing.
• Administrative tasks associated with managing a food and beverage function.
2. Bay Pavilions Café, Theatre Bar and Catering
• Manage the Bay Pavilions Café, bar and catering services, working regular service shifts.
• Prepare food and beverages for purchase by our customers, maximising sales opportunities.
• Present well-stocked, clean and professional services at all times to the customer.
• Process sales accurately in the POS system, capturing customer sales data wherever possible to maximise our re-marketing opportunities.
• Prepare food and beverage plans to match anticipated customer levels.
• Proactively provide information to customers on other happenings within Bay Pavilions, maximising our services to the customers.
• Look for upselling and cross-selling opportunities based on individual needs.
• Ensure regular cleaning of food preparation, serving and customer areas, including all equipment, surfaces, tables, chairs and floors.
• Ensure all reports, checklists and procedures are completed and signed off.
3. Shire Pools Food and Beverage Supply
• Coordinate the supply of food and beverages for the Shire Pools.
• Work with the Pool Captain at each location to ensure appropriate stock ordering and levels, minimising waste.
4. Health and Safety of all staff and customers
• Maintain an understanding of all relevant aspects of the Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
• Develop safe operating procedures for all food and beverage services
• Monitor compliance to policies and procedures.
• Implement and document hazard and environment inspections, risk assessments, risk controls and corrective actions.
• Ensure health and safety is discussed with all staff, on every shift.
• Risk assess work instructions to identify any hazards and act to rectify any identified risks.
• Ensure the dissemination of safety information to staff relevant to their roles and responsibilities.
• Ensure all employees and contractors are inducted and receive regular training as required.
5. Outstanding service delivery to all customers and stakeholders
• Aligned Leisure will be renowned for delivering outstanding service and providing memorable experiences for our customers. • Lead and deliver on our customer charter and service standards.
The Food and Beverage Coordinator must be available to work a mixture of early morning, daytime, evening and weekend shifts. They may from time to time be required to undertake other tasks as directed by the Head of Theatre & Arts.
