FSC is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Manager, to deliver the very best across multiple food and beverage outlets, inclusive of events and functions. The Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our dining and beverage operations. This includes managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality service, and creating an environment that exceeds our guests' expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of hospitality, and a proven track record in managing successful food and beverage operations. With Renovations set to commence in 2024, The Frenchville Sports Club is set to unveil premium dining facilities and multiple bar areas, including new function & event spaces! As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and passionate Food and Beverage Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all Catering and Beverage operations inclusive of rostering and recruitment.
- Liaise with other Departmental Managers to ensure the effective planning and performance of a highly professional food and beverage operation.
- Ensure an exceptional standard of cleanliness throughout the food service areas and implement a monitoring procedure in accordance with the Club’s customer service benchmarks.
- Implement effective stocktaking procedures and methods for recording and dealing with variances in consultation with the Operations Manager.
- Undertake ordering procedures and ensure their compliance with Club transfer policy.
- Ensure all departments are always clean and ready for operation.
- Assist in the design and development of costed menus, that meet set Gross Profit Margins, and are of an exceptional quality and standard, paying special attention to seasonal availability, and take pro-active steps to constantly improve the “dining experience” for members and guests.
- Prepare monthly reports in budget variances and wage variances in all departments.
- Develop innovative new practices within the catering and beverage department.
About You
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in hospitality industry particularly Food and Beverage
- High level understanding of liquor and gaming environments
- High level knowledge of customer service principles & processes
- Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management, or Certificate IV in Hospitality Operations preferred
- Blue Card, Food Safety Supervisors certificate (HACCP), Current First Aid Certificate – desirable
- RSA & RSG
- Ability to manage a team
- Ability to communicate effectively with other internal/external stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure
- Effectively manage multiple tasks at once
- Ability to communicate with a diverse range of people
- Excellent time management and administration skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Has a high standard of grooming and personal presentation
- Is flexible on working days and can work evenings and weekends when required
