We operate as a licensed cafe during the day and transform into a restaurant at night, situated in a bustling building home to a diverse mix of guests and owners. Our team is in search of a Cafe Supervisor with cooking abilities to fill a hands-on role within our small, friendly team.
Key Responsibilities include: but not limited to- Day to day operations of the cafe
- Rostering and managing staff
- Food & beverage ordering
- Stock control
- Organising and setting up conferences when required
- Setting menus, daily specials and function catering in consultation with the chef
- Daily banking
- Cooking on the chef's day off
- Maintaining a friendly and professional environment
- Adhere to RSA legislation at all times
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to manage and motivate a team
- Front of House skills
- Knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems
- Cooking skills
