Role Overview: As the Food & Beverage Manager, your pivotal responsibility is overseeing the Function Centre. Your goal is to ensure maximum guest satisfaction, aligned with the company’s purpose. Achieving this involves planning, organizing, directing, and influencing the Food & Beverage team. By genuinely understanding guest needs and preferences, you create personalized and memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Management and Ordering:
- Efficiently manage inventory and place orders.
- Rostering and Employee Management:
- Handle scheduling and oversee all F&B staff.
- Operational Excellence:
- Manage day-to-day F&B operations within budgeted guidelines, maintaining high standards.
- Uphold exceptional internal and external customer service.
- Leadership and Communication:
- Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and presentation.
- Set targets, KPIs, schedules, and policies.
- Foster a motivating, respectful, and teamwork-oriented environment.
- Safety and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure equipment compliance and cleanliness.
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations.
- Effective Communication:
- Conduct regular briefings with employees on preparation, service.
- Collaborate with the Kitchen regularly regarding daily operations and quality.
- Market Insight and Development:
- Identify market needs related to Food & Beverage operations.
- Learning & Development:
- Implement an effective program to enhance employee skills and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within a restaurant environment.
- Beneficial qualification in Hospitality.
- Availability for varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
- Current Approved Manager license and RSA certification.
