One of our client's, Springfield City Group, is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to manage the whole Food & Beverage operations and initiatives for Brookwater Golf & Country Club.
Setting a benchmark in golf, weddings, functions and dining, the Brookwater Golf and Country Club is one of Australia’s finest, located close to Brisbane, Queensland. The Brookwater Golf Course and Country Club offers a wide array of golfing activities across our 18-hole par 72 golf course, including options and events corporate and group golfers.
The Food & Beverage Manager will lead all staff in this section and develop the people and numbers, working closely with the General Manager.
To do this Brookwater Golf and Country Club need someone to be a brand ambassador by using well developed communication skills to lead, influence and encourage others, advocate sound financial and business decision making and demonstrate honesty and integrity leading by example. Experience or understanding of the golf sector, a members-based organisation and the demands of a food and beverage operation within a Club house is key to the success of this role as is maturity and attention to detail with service and operational matters.
Accreditation and knowledge of RMLV, RSA and industry regulations are also required for this role coupled with solid background in customer service and hospitality. Being proficient in Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, Outlook and ability to navigate different systems and ipads is required. Not forgetting a can-do attitude and ability to problem solve on your feet in a positive manner.
Some of the main duties and responsibilities include;
- Create, drive and take full ownership of critical components within our Food & Beverage operations and initiatives for this venue.
- Collaborate closely with our golf team, offering recommendations for the ongoing enhancement of Food & Beverage experiences.
- Exercise oversight over day to day program implementation, providing guidance on matters related to budgets, staffing and work quality.
- Review financial reports and statements to determine how Food and Beverage is performing against budget.
- Stay attuned to the activities of competitors, industry trends, and external factors, pinpointing fresh opportunities and presenting performance enhancement suggestions.
- Production and execution of successful events and activations for venue
