As a Food Service Assistant (FSA) you will assist in preparation and serving of meals to our residents at mecwacare, Wahroonga a 90 – bed facility. Your strong team focus aligned with ability to prioritise tasks in the kitchen will make you successful in this fast-paced role.
  
What you bring:

• Certificate in Food Handling: HLTFS207C.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Age Care experience an advantage.
• Experience in the preparation and presentation of food for large groups.
• Ability to provide a high standard of customer service.
• Understanding of and commitment to safe work and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to understand and complete documentation in accordance with Food Safety Plan requirements.
• Ability to identify problems and a clear understanding of when to alert immediate supervisors.
• Pro-active and dedicated approach to position.
