Food Services Officer
- Part Time
- 20 Hours per fortnight
- Working Saturday & Sunday Shift 1430 -2000
- Oversee on floor management of all daily rethermalisation, plating and distribution functions
- Have the ability to liaise with patients and other Hospital departments within area of responsibility
- Oversee Occupational Health and Safety issues as requested
- Co-ordinate and monitor in conjunction with Unit Manager on quality issues like quality control and hygiene standards
- Provide regular on the job training when requested
- Provide staff induction when requested
- Safe Food Handling Certificate for Health Industry or equivalent
- Computer literacy
- Ability to plan rosters
- Good people and communication skills
- Good computer skills in Excel, Work and outlook
- High standard of personal cleanliness and hygiene.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management (or similar)
- Ability to plan and meet deadlines
- Team building skills
