About the roleReporting to the Food Services Manager, this role primarily assists with kitchen cleaning activities, including washing dishes and appliances according to established protocols. Occasionally, the position may also involve supporting meal and catering services for patients and clients as directed. These shifts are casual and are available seven days a week.
Skills and experience
- Experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in cleaning procedures and the use of cleaning products with a kitchen environment.
- Proficient in managing and organising schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Effective communication skills
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and cleanliness standards for a Food Services environment (Knowledge of HACCP)
- A demonstrated understanding of food and beverage operations
- A willingness and ability to work positively within a team environment.
- Food handling certificate HLTFSE001 - Follow Basic Food Safety Practices
