The North Eastern Rehabilitation centre is looking to employ a Food Services Assistant to join their busy department on a casual basis. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.
As a Food Services Assistant your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
- Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
- Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standards
Selection Criteria:
- Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (working towards or willing to attain)
- Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work
