Forklift Operators

An opportunity currently exists for a Forklift Operator based at our Tennyson Site on a full-time basis. This role will be responsible to prepare and move goods and service all deliveries and customer orders as required.

Key accountabilities include:

• Load and unload transport deliveries.
• Follow warehouse procedures for storage and handling of goods.
• Record all incoming stock details and all damaged incoming goods from orders.
• Issue ingredients and packaging material to production staff as required.
• Record product details including Best Before materials prepared for dispatch.
• Generate and apply labels, accurately pick and wrap orders for dispatch.
• Book vehicles for pick up daily, including ensure that all transport arrives within designated loading times.
• Assist in inventory control.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards with regard to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and HACCP regulations.
• Identify and isolate all OOS raw materials.
• Maintain hygiene/GMP to an acceptable level for area of responsibility.
• Perform forklift start up procedure inspections, clean and maintain on a regular basis.
• Detect any operational problems and minimise equipment breakdowns.
• Follow company safe work procedures and comply with all safety instructions.

The successful applicant will possess:

• Current Forklift Licence.
• Experience in picking via RF 
• Working in a similar environment highly desired.
• Experience in SAP (highly desirable).
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel
