FoodWorks Hallidays Point is a family owned and operated supermarket based on the Mid-North Coast of NSW. Over the last 15 years, it has become a much loved destination for locals and tourists alike, being renowned for great service, Fresh Produce and a local product offering.
We are now recruiting a Produce Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Fresh Produce department which includes Fruit & Vegetables, Organic Produce, Eggs and Baked Goods.
Reporting to the store manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Ordering, pricing, storing and merchandising Produce.
- Supplier management & negotiations.
- Team member recruitment, training & coaching.
- Maintaining good hygiene practices & cleanliness of department.
- Stock control and shrinkage management.
- Organisation of storage and preparation areas.

About you and your skills
- This position is suited to someone with good experience in Australian Fresh and Seasonal Produce market and industry.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced customer facing environment.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain excellent department standards including monitoring stock, rotation routines, wastage, shrinkage and quality control.
- Enjoys delivering customers an outstanding shopping experience.
