Front of House Manager – Dusty Hill Vineyard
The Front of House Manager will efficiently run Dusty Hill VineyardFront of House operations, leading and engaging the team, and ensuring a high level of customer service is always provided to customers and visitors of Dusty Hill Vineyard.
The Front of House Manager is ‘hands-on’, working as part of a team to:
- Manage customer enquiries with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Providing training and support to Front of House Team Members
- Manage the online booking system, telephone bookings, and accommodation enquiries
- Manage restaurant reservations, coordinate, and organise tables plans, maps and seating lists.
- Ensure compliance with liquor laws and regulations, including but not limited to responsible service of alcohol.
- Reconciliation and accounting of cash registers and EFTPOS terminals.
- Provide leadership to team members, engaging the team, and cultivating a positive and productive team culture
- Communicate and work cohesively with all areas of the business (Front of house, kitchen, housekeeping, and maintenance) to:
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer requests and concerns
- Provide and receive feedback on availability and product quality
- Work together to achieve customer satisfaction
- Manage the daily operations ensuring all shifts are appropriately staffed.
- Delegate and coordinate team to ensure all tasks are completed before during and after service.
- Contribute to the development and updating of documentation.
- Support Event Coordinator and Directors with the running of weddings, Festival including but not limited to planning, set up, and promoting the events
- In consultation with the Directors, undertake continuous improvement activities to drive revenue for the property.
- Supervising stock control, rotation and assist with preparing orders
- Provide leadership and support to other properties requiring or requesting Managerial assistance
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a Hospitality Leadership/Management position
- Knowledge of, and ability to educate team members on liquor and gaming and associated laws and regulations to ensure compliance is maintained
- Exceptional customer service skills, with an aim to meet and exceed customer expectations
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and shift work
- Exceptional level of communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional presentation and grooming standard
- Maintains positive working relationships with customers, managers, and team members at all levels.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and is comfortable dealing with change, ambiguity, and complexity.
- Current Queensland Drivers Licence
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
- Responsible Management of Licenced Venue
On offer:
This is a full-time position, working a minimum of 38 hours per week. The Front of House Manager will work Wednesdays – Sundays, evenings, and split shifts.
The Salary for this position is $75,000-$80,000 per annum and is dependent on skills and experience.
