Front Of House Officer

Our client is currently seeking APS3 Participant Support Officer’s to join the team within a Federal Government Agency based in Murray Bridge.

National Delivery is responsible for engaging with participants and managing participant plans and supports. State/Territory-based business units manage the operating functions of the NDIS, ensuring accessible, nationally-consistent participant experiences.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Providing counter/reception support for the local office including participant enquiries in the self-help kiosks.
• Managing the team shared email inbox, appointments and telephone enquiries.
• Coordinating appointments with the use of Agency office facilities and ensuring facilities are accessible for participants.
• Undertaking research and investigation activities and preparing associated reports and correspondence.
• Interrogating the NDIA Business system to identify appropriate actions.
• Supporting planning teams by actioning planning tasks that do not require delegation.
• Undertaking a range of data entry activities.
• Receiving and recording complaints and other feedback in the NDIA Business systems.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Proven work experience in a similar role
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a varied fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
• Experience in building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders.
• An understanding of or lived experience in the field of disability is highly desirable.

This role is at the APS3 level equivalent offering $37.36 per hour + super. The rate of pay is casually loaded, as you will not be accruing annual or sick leave.
