The Role
The primary function of this position, as part of the in-house development team, is to work in conjunction with the development and infrastructure team members to ensure that development operational duties and projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve system issues. These responsibilities will be completed under the supervision of Senior Analyst Programmer and the IT development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Enterprise Content Management (ECM) content and applications that integrate with other enterprise systems and third-party products.
- Integrate non-SharePoint related services into SharePoint applications as needed.
- Assist other Group IT team members and users across the businesses in conceptualising and developing .Net solutions.
- Provide expertise and support to end users and other members of the Group IT team.
- Assist key users across the business with accessing, utilising and building ECM systems.
- Assist with day-to-day administration of the SharePoint System.
- Creation, management, and maintenance of enterprise workflows using Nintex Workflows.
- Manage end user system requirements as determined.
- Adhere to policies as per corporate manuals and directives.
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or similar.
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of web/intranet-based applications in an enterprise environment.
- Experience in .NET 3.5+, MVC, http://ASP.NET">ASP.NET ,T-SQL, C/C++, XML, C# .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, Odata and Windows Powershell scripting.
- Experience using jQuery, Client Object Model, and Service Oriented Architecture.
- Experienced SharePoint Site Collection Administration.
- SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and/or SQL Server Integration Services a plus
- Be motivated, independent and self-sufficient.
- Ability to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision.
- Proven programming background including authoring well written, well documented, modular and clean code.
- Be organised, a good communicator, able to effectively prioritize tasks, and manage projects from concept to production.
- Able to write thorough and concise functional and design specifications as well as easily readable end user documentation.
- Must be able to multitask, and quickly adapt to change.
- Experience with Nintex Workflows desirable (training will be provided).
- Experience with SharePoint’s application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services highly desirable
