Your new role
As a Full Stack Developer at Protecht Group, you will help develop new functionality for our ERM (Enterprise Risk Management), SaaS product. The role is required to deliver key releases and sprints using as Agile scrum methodology. Located in our central Sydney office and reporting to the Solution Architect, you will be working in small team that strives to implement best practices for development, testing and agile project delivery. Mentoring and a structured approach to learning are provided to grow your skills and experience.
Typically, you will:
- Work in an agile team to develop, test and maintain Protecht.ERM software
- Deliver key releases and sprints using an Agile Scrum methodology
- Deliver key functionality from the product roadmap
- Work with product managers and BA, actioning or facilitating the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of user stories and estimates
- Develop or facilitate complex integration solutions for our clients
- Develop or facilitate solution design for complex user requirements
- Deliver high quality code following Protecht standard procedures
- Participate in peer-review of solution designs and related code
- Package and support deployment of releases
- Provide third-level support to business users
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification such as a degree in computer science or information systems
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in building commercial products(s) using Java
- Experience in Java based web services and REST API
- Experience of Jenkins or other integration tools
- Experience with Bitbucket/GIT or other version control solutions
Some ‘nice to haves’
- Experience with GXT / GWT or React.js
- Experience with Spring framework
- Experience in Microservices, Kubernetes, and AWS
- Experience in engaging clients as part of project teams
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with Inetsoft or other BI tools
- Understanding of risk management
