AddressQZH Enterprise Pty Ltd (trading as The Junction Coffee Co) serves a range of contemporary and Australian cuisine, servingbreakfast and lunch dishes and drinks at Lane Cove.
We are looking for an experienced Chef to work with us. This is a full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable person.
Location: Lane Cove, NSW
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies;
2. Preparing and cooking food;
3. Selecting and training staff;
4. Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures;
5. Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation;
6. Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, and kitchen and waiting staff;
7. Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations;
8. Freezing and preserving foods.
Experience
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience preferred
• Holds at least AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma
Skills required:
• Team player
• Attention to detail;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Communication, management and leadership skills
• Interpersonal skills.
Annual salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per annum plus superannuation
