Ingot Hotel Perth is a 4-star full-service hotel with a strong corporate following, who is looking for a hospitality superstar!
In the role you will assume operational responsibility for the hotel, represent the hotel in the absence of the General Manager and absorb the role of Approved Manager on Duty in accordance with liquor licensing requirements. This position will be working across all departments, with a primary focus on Front Desk and Food & Beverage. This is a hands-on role, where you will be expected to guide, lead and assist the team.
Our successful candidate will require strong attention to detail, possess excellent communication skills and must be able to confidentially lead the team to ensure smooth and effective operation of all Hotel departments. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, hotel experience is essential.
The duties and responsibilities include, however are not limited too:
- Confidently overseeing all hotel operations, including emergency situations
- This is an operational, hands on role
- Proficient time management
- Excellent presentation and personal hygiene is required
- Natural ability to provide warm, professional, and courteous service to all guests from pre-arrival to post departure while achieving and exceeding guest service standards
- Up-selling of offerings to increase hotel revenue
- The ability to multitask
- Passionate about supervising, training and leading the team to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Excellent at developing and building authentic human connections, with our guests, colleagues and external stake holders
- Handle all guest requests, inquiries, and complaints appropriately, with professionalism, confidence and efficiency
- Ensure all reservations are entered/updated in an efficient and precise manner
- A team player, who has the initiative and drive to seek improvements
Ingot Hotel Perth operates a 24-hour reception desk; as a result flexibility to work a rotating roster, including days, evenings, nights, weekends & public holidays is essential.
- Current (or able to obtain) an Approved Managers License is an essential requirement of this position
- Current (or able to obtain) an Australia Drivers License is an essential requirement of this position
- Full Unrestricted working rights is an essential requirement of this position
- Previously experience with Opera PMS will be highly regarded
