Full Time Pharmacist - Community Pharmacy
Ormeau 7 Day Amcal is located on the Northern end of the beautiful Gold Coast in close proximity to the M1. Our community pharmacy was established in 2019 with the goal of providing high quality healthcare services to the residents of Ormeau and surrounding suburbs. Since opening our doors, we have consistently strived to exceed the expectations of our patients and have made it our mission to provide exceptional care and customer service. Over the past five years, we have seen tremendous growth and success. We have expanded our team to include highly skilled pharmacists and assistants, and have introduced a range of specialised programs and services including immunisations, travel health, sleep apnoea services and a Cannabis dispensary.
We are now seeking a highly motivated and skilled Full Time Pharmacist to join our team!. You will play in integral role to implement innovative process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity. You will help us to continue to build on our strong reputation in the community with a commitment to continuing to evolve and adapt to meet the changing needs of our patients.
Key responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including medication dispensing, inventory management, and maintaining pharmacy standards.
- Providing professional and friendly customer service to all clients.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
- Delivering a range of professional services such as medication reviews, vaccinations, sleep apnoea services and health education.
- Development and implementation of clinical programs and initiatives designed to improve patient outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Masters of Pharmacy degree
- Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
- A minimum of 2 years experience working in a Pharmacist role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and staff.
- A commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services and exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of pharmacy software and systems.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays as required.
