Full Time Qualified Chef/Experienced Cook

Drift is located in Devonport, Tasmania. Our venue is situated right on ‘Bluff Beach’- a short tennis ball throw away from crashing waves and incredible views over the headland.

At Drift we are passionate about creating great dining experiences for our guests and providing a relaxed beachside atmosphere for both locals and tourists to come together with family and friends. Our 7 day breakfast/lunch menu utilises some amazing Tassie produce and we love working with fresh, local ingredients.

We have a full time position available as a part of our kitchen team for immediate start.

Your role

• Working in fast paced daily breakfast+lunch services and completing a high standard of prep work between service
• Delivering menu items to a high standard consistently with the support of our kitchen management team
• Communicating effectively with the front-of-house team members to give a memorable complete customer experience
• Working collaboratively with our team to develop dishes and having input on dish presentation

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience as a breakfast/cafe chef or experienced cook in a busy environment
• Meticulous attention to detail and an understanding of the need for consistently high levels of presentation and prep work
• Be committed to cleanliness and have an exceptional understanding of food safety standards and the dietary needs of our customers
