- Monday to Thursday @ 3 hours per afternoon
We are a not for profit, community owned, non government organisation which provides high quality care and education for children, national and state wide inclusion services as part of a National Consortia and operate many community based services to children and families. These include post natal depression groups, transition to school and supported playgroups.

The Fun Club Educator is resposible for providing quality education and care to all children attending the service. As an educator, fun comes with the territory. Incorporating personal interactions with the children, families and community, you will be able to create positive bonds with eachother while implementing centre based programs, catering to each child's needs. You will be empowered to make a real difference, including your own ideas and interests into everything you do, while assisting your team with day-to-day operational tasks, including but not limited to supervision, serving meals, housekeeping, participating in group time and keeping a safe work environment for staff and children.
This position is an ideal launchpad to great things. Whether you're formally qualified or not, this position is an ideal oppurtunity to explore the childcare industry and gain practical on-the-job-experience while you may be studying, changing career paths or just getting started in the workforce.
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience working with children
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with children and families
- Ability to work harmoniously within a team environment
- A good level of physical fitness
- Capacity to contribute actively to the efficient and effective operation/development of a high quality outside school hours care service
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety, an inclusive curriculum, child protection and the Quality Improvement and Accreditation System
- Previous experience providing support to children with additional needs (desirable)
- Certificate IV (OSHC), Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care or relevant tertiary studies (desirable)
- Evidence from the Australian Immunisation Register that you have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination, or a medical contraindication
