The Venue:This gorgeous members Yacht Club offers a fantastic environment with amazing views and is very busy with Functions and Events. Working alongside passionate like minded hospitality people, this role is the perfect opportunity to show your skills and abilities and liaise with high end clients to create amazing events.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be required to successfully juggle all areas of function and event management, ranging from weddings, conferences, corporate events etc. With a Can Do Attitude this role is an amazing opportunity to expand your career while enjoying every minute!
Monday to Friday role handing over to the F&B team to run!!
Salary $85k + super
The Successful Candidate:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Fantastic customer service skills, with a willingness to exceed customers expectations at all times
- Maintenance of high levels of communication with management team and kitchen operations with regards to all Functions and Events
- Exceptional selling skills and client interaction
- Management of event/function staff
- Involvement in all Function Sales & Marketing efforts including: sales meetings, sales calls, function enquiries and venue tours
- Highly organised, multi-tasker, and meticulous attention to detail ensuring guests' satisfaction
- Professional demeanour with exceptional literacy and communication skills. High level of grooming standards
- Restaurant, Bar and Function experience preferred, willingness to be hands on and assist in all areas
- Prioritisation skills and passion for meeting deadlines
