United Technology Services, (‘UTS’ - a subsidiary of Ainsworth Game Technology), is looking for a Gaming Machine Technician based in the Greater Sydney region.
UTS offers a full range of technical services to the NSW club and hotel industry, with our primary business being Electronic Gaming Machine (EGM) installation, maintenance and repair.
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an individual looking to join a fast paced, ever changing technical role. You will be responsible for providing support to our customers for the installation, maintenance and relocation of Gaming Machines, as well as other associated tasks.
You will possess excellent communication skills, be well presented and professional, and display high levels of problem solving to resolve customer technical issues.
What you’ll do:
- Installation, fault finding and repairs of EGMs and gaming products.
- Routine preventative maintenance.
- Removal and relocation of Gaming Machines and subsidiary equipment.
- Performing EGM game conversions.
- General computing & IT tasks.
- Building and maintaining relationships with venue staff.
- Participating in a rotating on-call roster to provide after hours and weekend support in line with customer requirements.
To be successful you must be able to demonstrate knowledge of:
- Commitment to excellent customer service.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Ability to work autonomously and to meet strict deadlines.
- Attention to detail and the ability to understand and adhere to strict licensing requirements in a highly regulated industry.
- Prior experience in gaming service or clubs is preferred but not essential.
- Current NSW drivers licence.
