The Role
As a Gardener/handy Person for Marymead CatholicCare, you will be providing our clients with gardening services within their homes in the ACT and surrounding region. This rewarding position will fulfil your interest in providing a supportive and compassionate service within aged care and disability services, and giving something back to the community.

Marymead CatholicCare is the social services arm of the Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn. Ideal person
The ideal person we are looking for has:
- Previous experience with gardening/handywork
- Current drivers’ licence, and ability to drive with a trailer
- Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate with clients and staff
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Ability to identify work place safety, and operate in a safe manner
You will also be required to undergo a National Police Check.
To be considered for this role you will be also required to hold:
- a current drivers licence, and
- a Working with Vulnerable People Card
