Salary Key Responsibilities
Site procurement
-Be the GASP contact at plant level.
-Manage complete RFQ process from start to finish with plant team and within the assigned threshold.
-Act as facilitator to proactively organize RFQ activities on time to support site activities.
-Explain as required procurement processes to local stakeholders.
-Promote procurement excellence and seek for efficiency via automation.
-Promote best practices to bring competitive edge for the group.
Automation and contract management
-Gather data of site and work with site stakeholders across various department to establish clear contracts to set up.
-Maintain such contracts.
-Launch required tender to ensure competitiveness of contract.
-Understand site needs, constraints and suggest plan to respond, sometimes challenge users approach diplomatically with data.
-Leverage on volume to reach best outcome overall for the site.
-Become knowledgeable and comfortable with strategic contract and drive such discussions to positive results.
Required Profile
-Bachelor’s degree
-Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement, within MNC owner or engineering company in petro-chemical or pharmaceutical industry, preferably based at production site
-Ability to work in a multi-national environment.
-Highly organized and able to handle pressure and workload surge at times
-Effective in communication. Second language (French, Mandarin, Hindi, Tamil) is a plus.
