Form of workPROCUREMENT BUYER Competitive Hourly Rate Ongoing Casual Role Monday - Friday Our client is a technology driven hydrogen company looking to revolutionize energy. They are a global company focused on commercializing hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in the trucking and logistics sector.
The successful candidate will support the Australia Procurement Team and Senior Buyer, with all procurement, sourcing, supply chain and other related & administrative tasks, to ensure the success of the local & global business. RESPONSIBILITIES Obtain quotations, source direct & indirect items, spare parts, negotiations, cost savings, prepare Purchase Orders, issue POs, vendor creation support, track and expedite, logistics & aftersales support, payment terms, etc.
Familiarise and be up to speed with all projects, attend project meetings as necessary, and provide necessary procurement/supply chain support. Actively engage in and support all supply chain & logistics initiatives, to deliver projects and customer satisfaction. Ensure processes, records and documentation are up to date.
Key skills and attributes required for the role: Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Commerce or similar. 1-2 Years Work Experience, in automotive or other manufacturing industry.
Experience in working effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Mandarin Skills, in this operational role, with be a high advantage and preferred. Working knowledge of SAGE ERP preferred.
