The successful candidate will support the Australia Procurement Team and Senior Buyer, with all procurement, sourcing, supply chain and other related & administrative tasks, to ensure the success of the local & global business.
Responsibilities
- Obtain quotations, source direct & indirect items, spare parts, negotiations, cost savings, prepare Purchase Orders, issue POs, vendor creation support, track and expedite, logistics & aftersales support, payment terms, etc.
- Familiarise and be up to speed with all projects, attend project meetings as necessary, and provide necessary procurement/supply chain support.
- Actively engage in and support all supply chain & logistics initiatives, to deliver projects and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure processes, records and documentation are up to date.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Commerce or similar.
- 1-2 Years Work Experience, in automotive or other manufacturing industry.
- Experience in working effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Mandarin Skills, in this operational role, with be a high advantage and preferred.
- Working knowledge of SAGE ERP preferred.
- High level communication skills both verbal and written.
