Your new role:
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor and based at our Darwin branch, we are looking for a Handyman who is a good team player with a customer centric attitude to join our team and support branch hire activities in the hire yard.
- Operate forklifts to load / unload materials and buildings.
- Operating hand and power tools to install and/or repair fittings to clients' requests.
- Processing paperwork of the installation & return of hire assets via the operations construction process.
- Stocktakes of assets as required.
- Prepare hire buildings for transit.
- Unpack and test run/clean ancillaries when buildings are returned from hire.
- Prepare, clean and pack buildings to hire standards.
- Forklift licence.
- Working at height ticket (desirable).
- Experience as a trade assistant or handyman in Building and / or Construction
- Proficiency in using hand & power tools (mandatory)
- Have a strong understanding of safety and application of Work Health & Safety practices.
- Great interpersonal skills, solid team player and ability to work autonomously.
