After significant expansion over the last two years, it’s time to bring in a General Manager to support and grow the existing team and drive strategic projects. And with a management team already in place, the GM can take the lead, focus on the big picture and capitalise on the opportunities that abound.
Based in south-east Queensland, about an hour’s drive north of Brisbane, Quad Care works in the disability services sector, providing in-home support and allied health services. 2024 will see expansion from strong foundations into aged care, additional allied health hubs and some exciting associated projects. It’s going to be a big year!
This role will suit an experienced manager with a broad skill set. You’ll need to be a people person, strategic, goal-focused, and love a challenge.
The opportunity
Based on significant growth and expansion, we’re seeking a talented and driven General Manager with excellent planning, execution, coordination and project management skills.
It’s a high-level management position, working closely with the managing director and management team across all facets of business operations. This enthusiastic team is ready for a leader to take them to the next level.
Responsibilities will include:
· Strategic planning and development.
· Project management, execution and oversight.
· Maintaining corporate governance and compliance activities.
· Granting and funding application and management.
· Financial oversight, reporting, analysis and planning.
· Managing, coaching and mentoring the management and service coordination teams.
· Supporting human resource management and culture development across the organisation.
· Quality improvement projects.
You’ll drive and lead the strategic direction and growth of the organisation. The team will appreciate your leadership and guidance, as well as your energy, insight and can-do approach to all aspects of the business. External stakeholders will gain from the quality of service, support and care that your work serves to create and reinforce.

This is you
You’re someone with highly effective strategy development, project management and leadership skills and the ability to motivate and enthuse your team. You maintain a big-picture view whilst demonstrating insight into operational efficiencies and best practice, and understanding and supporting the experience of individual stakeholders.
You love challenges, are results-oriented and thrive on having multiple accountabilities and projects on the go. You have excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills, an analytical approach, and a high level of professionalism and business ethics.
You have a tertiary qualification in business management or a comparable field of study, with 5+ years of experience in business management, human resource management, and leadership expertise.
While not essential, an understanding of the health and community services industries and an MBA or post-graduate qualification in a related field would be highly regarded, as would knowledge and understanding of the NDIS.
Thorough knowledge of the Office/365 suite, plus bookkeeping software such as Xero or MYOB, is essential. A bonus would be experience with project management software and clinical packages used in healthcare practice.
