The General ManagerService Delivery NSW is a newly created position to support the expansion of the organisation and its services in NSW. This position will play an essential role in ensuring the effective delivery of industry-leading entitlements scheme and wellbeing programs.
The Role
Reporting to the NSW General Manager, this role will support the national expansion of the organisation into NSW and guide the delivery of the organisation's services to memberships across key industry sectors in NSW.
Key areas of focus include:
- Ensure the reliable and timely delivery of key services to members in NSW
- Build and maintain valued and effective relationships across key external stakeholders including Employers, Members and Unions.
- Collaboratively develop strategies to tailor offered services to NSW and drive value for members.
- Oversee the local delivery of advice and claims to services covered
- Collaborate with peers regarding current and proposed Member Services
- Deputise for the NSW General Manager as required
- Lead a small but growing team of consultants
Your Profile
Ideally tertiary qualified, you will bring a sound understanding of membership-based organisations, Not for Profit, superannuation funds, unions or state or federal government sectors.
With exceptional organisational and relationship-building skills, you will have the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels and to communicate messages to a broad and varied audience.
You are a hands-on leader, with exposure to leading a small team.
Additionally, you will bring:
- Highly developed communication skills, written and oral.
- Ability to build strong and lasting relationships, internally and externally.
- Experience with media and journalists.
- A drive to grow business outcomes.
- Service-oriented with the ability to deliver exceptional levels of customer care.
This role is ideal for either an experienced General Manager to work autonomously and deliver exceptional service within the organisation or for a current Manager who would like to develop GM capabilities within an organisation that is established and highly respected and one which can offer significant career development as the NSW operation matures and expands.
