We are currently seeking a General Manager - Pacific (Service Team) to lead our Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT) business and spearhead the ongoing evolution of our service organization. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to provide direction, support, and vision across our extensive matrix organization, ensuring the achievement of objectives for our customers, employees, and the company. You will oversee the financial outcomes of the Service Business, managing your Management Operating System (MOS) which includes Monthly Business Reviews, Financial Forecasting, approval of key service pursuits, risk management reviews, and operational leadership to ensure key performance indicators such as productivity, customer feedback data, and successful pricing strategies are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead a skilled, engaged, and high-performing team, ensuring clear objectives, accountability, and team member retention with a focus on career development.
· Maintain customer satisfaction at targeted levels and promptly address and resolve customer issues.
· Take ownership of financial performance for the Pacific Service LOB.
· Monitor monthly financial performance and review estimates versus actuals across the district project deck for continuous improvement in Service & Sales operational metrics.
· Effectively lead the implementation of productivity-enhancing process changes related to project delivery.
· Control costs and maximize productivity through the implementation of effective methods, standard processes, and engagement of the Supply Chain team.
· Ensure proper resourcing for Service & Sales across the region, encouraging sharing and collaboration across Districts.
· Develop effective partnerships with GBO to ensure an adequate pool of resources is available.
· Manage the performance management process, conducting appraisals, and providing coaching, training, career planning, development, salary administration, and team recognition.
· Foster collaboration among team members and between teams.
· Develop strong relationships with Project Leaders to ensure effective sales-to-Service operations handovers, optimized resource utilization, and maximal Service conversion.
· Be the change management leader for the team and aggressively implement agreed-upon initiatives.
· Ensure a safe work environment through effective communication, training, equipment/vehicle maintenance, and facility improvements.
· Manage safety programs for assigned field operations, upholding industry codes and standards.
· Ensure Honeywell SOPs are in place and adhered to.
Key Experience & Capabilities:
- 15+ years' experience in a team leadership role necessary.
- General Management or Sales experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others
- MBA or similar recommended You will lead a team of senior leaders, building a culture of excellence and commercial acumen.
