About the role
As a key senior leadership team member, and leading a small team, the General Manager Product is responsible for building and implementing the product strategy, roadmap and framework for the fundraising department of 100+ staff and $100m+ revenue. The appointee will develop and deliver fundraising products and compelling propositions that meet supporter needs and donor segments, that achieve revenue growth aspirations in line with the organisation’s strategy and goals. Establishing and managing relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, the role will build product development capability and embed processes and metrics to develop and launch new products, including loyalty and member programs. The appointee will also drive ongoing management of the product portfolio and ensure product integration and building of new ways of working.
About you
You are a senior product leader from the fundraising, not-for-profit or commercial sectors such as financial services, banking, energy, utilities, insurance, telecommunications and similar. With a track record in best practice product management and new product development, you are deeply experienced in product ideation, proposition and business case development, product design, market launch, and test and learn. Underpinning your ability to grow product revenue in a large organisation, are your strategic aptitude, exceptional complex stakeholder management skills, commercial and innovative approach and track record building and developing high performing teams. You are a strong critical thinker who is decisive, takes initiative, and has high levels of motivation and sound judgement. Your ability to inspire others by setting and achieving stretch goals, and passion for this cause will see you succeed in this greenfield commercial and purpose led opportunity.
