A bit about your role
The nbn Regulatory team’s overall objective is to shape nbn’s regulatory environment to help the company deliver on its objectives. In support of achieving this objective, we pursue regulatory outcomes that enable nbn to fulfil its mandate as a GBE, including by pursuing regulatory certainty while also preserving appropriate commercial and operational flexibly for the company.
The General Manager Regulatory Pricing and Products leads a team that is a critical interface between Regulator and business ensuring the most productive relationship possible by representing nbn’s interests with the regulator and providing advice, guidance and support in ensuring business understanding and compliance to the relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
This role works to create and implement long term strategies to optimise the regulatory framework in which nbn operates utilising extensive understanding of regulatory engagement on commercial initiatives, regulatory issues and policy reform initiatives.
A bit about you
If this sounds like the role for you then it is likely you will be qualified in economics, commerce, or law, possess a comprehensive understanding of the telecommunications industry and or other infrastructure sectors, the regulatory environment as well hold significant regulatory experience. You’ll be well versed in price regulation and/or building block model regulation.
As an exceptional communicator with stakeholders at all levels, you are highly skilled at conveying information clearly and effectively, with capabilities in delivering high quality, succinct and impactful written or verbal advice.
You will hold strong organisational, planning and time management skills demonstrated through complex and strategically significant projects, drawing on business insight and regulatory expertise.
