About the position:
The purpose of the General Manager is to provide executive leadership and management of the security division inclusive of P&L, service delivery, and commercial management. The role will lead the sustainment and development including design, implementation, project delivery, maintenance, support, technology integration, and R&D, within and across the group.
While there is a significant focus on the future, a fundamental component of the role remains on the ‘fitness for work’, ability to scale (at marginal cost), and continued improvement to the business operating ratio and bottom-line performance.
The services are presently delivered within Governments, large multi-national commercial entities, Maritime, Defence, Resources, Oil & Gas, and Energy industries.
Reporting directly to the COO while managing a team of around 8 directly, with a total headcount of 230 staff nationally.
About you:
Engineering/Technology, Business/Commercial and/or Project Management qualifications are preferable. Your commercial and strategic skills will help this business strengthen and further expand in the market. Your strong leadership skills will help improve staff retention, and your networking skills will help build strong relationships with customers as you work to understand what their needs are. You will be able to work in an environment that is high pace, that shifts and changes when required to adapt to changing needs of clients, and able to work in ambiguity.
