Job Description
We have a newly created role for a General Manager- Soft Services to join our national FM Platform based out of the Sodexo Balcatta office. This is a senior leadership position that will drive continuous improvement, automation and innovation of the Soft Services Sodexo offers.
At Sodexo run sites, Soft Services comprise cleaning, front of house, security, grounds maintenance, mailrooms, waste management, laundries, health and fitness, transportation and conference centre management.
The General Manager will have up to 30 direct and indirect reports across multiple sites and locations. You will need to be innovative and commercially focused in addition to being a strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels up to senior leaders.
This is a great opportunity to join an international leader in facilities management- including working on the worlds largest FM contract.

Qualifications
- Facilities management or Engineering degree with a technical background in Hospitality
- Experience of having operated successfully within an outsourced B2B environment
- Development of commercially viable operational/innovative solutions based on rigorous techniques to understand client needs and price products/services accordingly
- Proven financial/commercial acumen to manage Soft Services budget.
- Proven track record of initiating and leading demanding business transformation programs.
- Proven experience of developing profitable relationships with clients
- Proven financial/commercial acumen to manage Soft Services budget.
