General Manager - Student Management Software

An exciting opportunity exists for a General Manager to join our Student Management Product division. This is a critical role leading our Student Management product which provides a total solution enabling students, academics, administrators and partners to connect through the one application.

The General Manager leads TechnologyOne's Student Management team to be customer and achievement focused and as a business leader is driven to continually improve our product. You will develop and deliver the product strategy to achieve a maximum lovable product, partnering with the Industry, Sales, Consulting, Support, and Regional teams as well as actively engaging with customers to understand their requirements and deliver what the market needs, on time and to budget. You will strongly believe in your team and your product strategy, and actively evangelise their product.

• Deep industry and product knowledge gained through proven enterprise software experience in the higher education sector
• Strong commercial and business acumen and can demonstrate effective stakeholder engagement
• Strong experience in developing and delivering integrated, enterprise/ERP software.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to anticipate and effectively resolve complex issues, providing opportunities to stretch individuals and teams to work together whilst linking to strategy and department initiatives

• Higher education Industry and technical knowledge
• A proven leader who drives strategic goals through high team performance, efficient use of systems and processes while adapting to change and innovation.
• Executive level communication skills with the ability to provide vision and direction through clear communication and shares appropriate information openly.
• The ability to make data-informed commercial decisions that drives profitable growth in line with enterprise strategy and vision and customer needs
