A new unique opportunity is open for our client based in Sunshine for a forward-thinking General Manager who is keen to stamp their personality on this very family orientated venue and assist the Club and its members to maximise their opportunities.
Working closely with the CFO, this role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Club’s operations to ensure it functions in a highly professional manner and at maximum efficiency. Key to the success of this role is your ability to mentor, motivate and lead a team of staff to always deliver exceptional customer service and a quality product.
The successful candidate must hold a current Victorian Gaming Industry Employee License and will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Drive exceptional customer service.
- Create and monitor cost-efficient rosters.
- Must have extensive experience in Gaming operations and TAB / Keno administration.
- Ability to drive revenue and marketing across all departments.
- An understanding of modern HR practices and compliance
- Make sound and informed decisions to the benefit of the Club.
- Experience in communicating at all levels.
- Create a positive environment and mentor staff, encouraging their personal growth and development.
- Capacity for strategic thinking and implementation of strategic plans
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Club/Hotel with at least 3 years in a Senior Management role
- Knowledge of legislation governing operation of Victorian Clubs
