We are a GP owned private practice with a highly supportive team of 7 + GP’s and allied health professionals and two highly experienced nurses. The clinic is dedicated to women's health and wellbeing and is located on Ferry rd. in Southport. An opportunity is available to join the team on a permanent part time basis including alternate Saturdays
Your Role
Duties included but not limited to:
- Treatment Room Assisting
- Wound care
- Immunisations
- Assisting GP's with procedures
- Maintaining recall & reminder systems using Automed
- Cold chain management
- Medical Supply ordering and stock control.
- Ensuring the treatment room is within RACGP Standards.
2 x half days per week will be allocated to preparing & completing Chronic Disease Management including Care Plans & Health Assessments.
Qualifications and experience
Essential:
- Full AHPRA registration
- Current National Police Check
- Current immunisation certificate
- Previous experience in an accredited General Practice
- Experience in GPMP and Team Care arrangements
- Availability to work alternate Saturdays
- Childhood immunisation experience
- Knowledge of Best Practice Software
Highly regarded:
- Knowledge of Best Practice software
- Previous autonomous roles
- A positive “can do” attitude
- Sound knowledge of infection control principles
- Experience with iron infusions
- Experience in women’s health, insertion removal of mirena and implanon
