The applicant must be professional, efficient, hardworking & have the ability to create a good rapport with our patients & team. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, passion, committed to the role & willing to work collaboratively with our team of nurses. Full time and Part time positions are available.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive and compassionate care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- General treatment room duties
- Chronic Disease Management
- Preparation & education in Care Planning
- Health Assessments
- ECG/Spirometry/Audiometry
- All Childhood Immunisations & general vaccinations
- Wound care
- Assisting with minor and complex procedures
- Cold chain management
- Ordering of medical supplies
- Triage
- the Co-ordination of patient recalls and results utilising HotDocs software
- Sterilising of Medical Equipment
- COVID-19 Vaccination protocol & guidelines
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to follow procedure and be confident in decision making skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with the practice team
- Effective use of registers and reminder systems to prompt intervention and promote best practice care
- Participate in the development and implementation and evaluation of relevant policies and procedures
About you
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- A minimum of 1 years+ General Practice nursing experience
- Experience with care plans and health assessments
- Applicants are to be consistently warm, caring and empathetic with patients, fellow nurses and administration.
- We desire an individual who can work independently and as a team member.
- Experience with Best Practice software highly regarded but not essential.
