SalaryParagon Engineering are excited to announce an opportunity for an exceptional Geotechnical Engineer to join as an integral part of our high performing team.
The role would perfectly suit somebody who shares our values and dedication to quality who is seeking a role involving design and analyses work, drafting and technical reporting on a variety or projects.
Paragon is a key player in the specialist engineering consulting field. We are well-established and committed to delivering high-quality designs in our areas of focus in foundation and shoring systems, structural assessment and decommissioning, temporary works design, specialist testing/monitoring and bridge assessment and design.
To be considered for the role, you must have
- Degree in Geotechnical/Civil Engineering, recognised by Engineers Australia (CPEng and higher education are highly regarded)
- Extensive design experience within an engineering consultancy
- Solid knowledge of local codes
- Ability to communicate with and deliver work to clients in a timely manner
- Able to attend to site as required
- Demonstrated awareness of Project Management within the Structural consultancy discipline
- Experience in structural analysis
- Design of Shoring and Foundation Systems, temporary works design and structural decommissioning.
- High competency in analysis software & FEM
- Strong technical reporting skills
- Engineering Software knowledge, including Wallap, Plaxis, Revit and Robot
- Knowledge and keen interest to develop skills in Structural Engineering will be highly regarded
