About the role
With the global recruitment of radiologists and brand awareness at the forefront of Everlight's growth plans, the marketing team plays a key role in the overall business strategy. An exciting opportunity exists to join this global team and take the lead on marketing, communications, and events activities. Whilst this role has a global remit, as the sole senior ANZ-based marketing representative, this role ensures that ANZ leadership and SMEs are aware of, engaged in and actively contributing to marketing and communications plans.
Reporting to the Global Director of Marketing Communications, you will be responsible for:
- Planning, management and execution of Everlight's global events strategy, including hands-on delivery of local events and measurement and analysis of event performance;
- Management of global radiologist recruitment campaigns, including creative development, campaign assets / collateral, digital activation, reporting and optimisation (activation and reporting via HubSpot tech stack);
- Monitoring and optimising the performance of 'always on' marketing channels;
- Local stakeholder liaison and management, ensuring ANZ Executive team and associated clinicians are engaged in and actively contributing to marketing and communications plans; and
- Supplier management as required, including brand and design agency, Radiopaedia advertising platform and several events and exhibition-related suppliers.
About you
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong generalist marcomms skill set, including event management, who has ideally gained experience in working with a similar structure where recruitment is at the forefront of the marketing strategy. Organisations / Associations that recruit members, university student recruitment, medical staff etc would be relevant to the context of this role.
To be considered for this role, your background and experience must meet the following criteria:
- Sydney or Melbourne based, with the ability to perform the role at least 2 days per week from the Everlight office in that City;
- Ability to commit to the initial length of the contract (12 months), with a possibility of extension;
- Willingness to commit to weekly meetings after hours, to connect with the global team and occasionally travel interstate or to NZ;
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business, communications or a similar field preferred;
- At least 5 years of experience in managing generalist marketing communications activities, ideally gained in a similar context such as the recruitment of medical staff, students, members etc;
- Strong experience in end to end event management and execution, including post-event analysis and reporting;
- A strong understanding of brand and marketing principles and the ability to adapt to available timescales and budget;
- Experience in managing and delivering a multi-channel marketing strategy, including events and end to end campaign management (email marketing, creating digital assets, social media advertising, experience with Hubspot highly desirable);
- Ability to work autonomously, proactively reaching out for advice, support and input as required from wider marketing, executive and leadership teams; and
- Shows consistent ability to measure, monitor and optimise marketing performance using performance data.
