AddressCooroy Golf Club is currently looking for a qualified Greenkeeper or Groundsperson to join our team full time.
We are seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and punctual, hands-on person. This is a full-time position (additional rostered weekend work is required) working within the Golf Course maintenance team.
Cooroy Golf Club is located just 20 minutes from the heart of Noosa in the beautiful town of Cooroy with its hinterland village charm, this easy walking 18 hole Golf Course offers a challenging but enjoyable experience for golfers of all levels.
Remuneration will be guided by skills and experience and paid under the Registered and Licensed Club Award.
Experience and Requirements
- Certificate 3 in Sports Turf Management or higher (not essential)
- Excellent attention for detail
- Experience in all aspects of Golf Course maintenance
- Competent with wide range of turf machinery
- Be hard working and physically fit for manual work
- Have a general understanding of the game of Golf
- Sound communication skills
- Hold a current Australian drivers licence
- Construction experience will be advantageous although not essential
Essential Skills:
- Previous Golf Course experience will have a distinct advantage
- Able to work within a small team or unsupervised
- Effective communication skills with ability to liaise with team members and members of the public
- Punctual and willing to learn new tasks
The position will be full time with some rostered work required on weekends and public holidays.
