The role
Reporting to the Director Program Performance, you will be responsible for the governance structure and best practice models to support transparent and effective decision-making of the project teams overssing the delivery of the Queensland Health capital program. You will develop and implement strategies and policies to improve compliance management and integrated governance practices to ensure the program meets legislative, policy and strategic obligations. The role will involve preparing high quality briefing papers and reports on the status of activities across the program, creating meeting agendas, writing meeting minutes, documenting decisions, coordinating the distribution of minutes, actions and follow up on action items. You will provide support and expertise for high-quality governance and reporting on program and projects which ultimately support the successful on-time, on-budget delivery needs of the decision-making bodies in relation to the projects.
The successful person
The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products and previous experience working in a governance and reporting role. It is key you have a high attention to detail in performance and administrative duties with the ability to develop strong collaborative relationships. Strong written communication and time management skills are vital as you support stakeholders in producing quality reports. Being able to maintain a high standard of governance and reporting will be essential, as will having an attitude that embraces change and leads with focus and optimism in an environment of complexity and ambiguity.
