About this positionReporting to the Manager Governance, this position is responsible for: Maintaining documents and undertaking key governance tasks to support legislative compliance Under direction, coordinating governance reviews and key documents including Council’s Annual Report, delegations and authorisations documents, and policies and procedures Preparing Council reports and recommendations on governance and policy related issues Supporting strategic and corporate planning responsibilities including administrative tasks to ensure compliance.To be successful in this role you will have: Proven experience in a relevant administrative role (essential) Experience preparing corporate reports and/or publications (essential) Experience in coordinating project planning such as document and information management (essential) Diploma (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (desirable) Experience in providing corporate governance support in a relevant role(desirable) Experience with implementing legislation (particularly Local Government Act 1999) (desirable) Experience with policies, procedures and plans management (desirable) Experience with electronic records keeping applications (desirable) Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team (desirable).This permanent, part-time position (48 hours per fortnight, ideally across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week) is classified as Level 4 under the City of Campbelltown Municipal Staff Enterprise Agreement No 10, 2021 and relevant Award. Council may consider applicants with lower qualifications and experience (an appropriate adjustment in salary classification will apply).To be successful, a candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, submit a police clearance and submit a copy of relevant (desirable) qualifications upon request.
