About the Role:The GRC Business Partner (Australia Region) position is a role in the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) team within the Finance Business Group. The GRC team is responsible for Woodside's enterprise level Governance, Risk and Compliance and enabling the business to achieve its strategic objectives.
The GRC Business Partner (Australian Region) position is accountable to coach, support, challenge and assure the business to manage risk, comply with the law and achieve our objectives. This is a permanent full-time position.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Drive, facilitate and monitor annual GRC activities and plan with allocated stakeholders of business area.
- Scanning the horizon to support the business identify strategic and emerging risk and support business means to comply.
- Training and coaching stakeholders in process, system (WiRCS) and promoting risk and Compliance behaviours, including:
- Facilitation of active risk management and adherence to risk and Compliance behaviours in the business
- Support and champion of the use and improvement of the Woodside Management System
- Facilitation of risk workshops, including training the 1st line and leaders to do so including self-assessment of performance
- Coaching the line identify and assess the design and effectiveness of critical controls
- Ensuring oversight over adherence to compliance action dates / accountabilities
- Executing 2nd line oversight of key GRC activities.
- Analysis of data and ensuring oversight of GRC activities, i.e. second line assurance accountabilities
- Delivery of high-quality reporting, including quality and repeatability assessments of line led GRC activities
- Organisational agility and influence with senior stakeholders
- Delivery and support of GRC integration and improvement activities including change management processes (technical, behavioural/culture, and organisational change).
- Facilitate business process investigations.
- Collaboration with other team members within Australia and in International Operations.
- Experience in Governance, Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit or other assurance activities
- Relevant qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering, Business, or Project Management, HSE, law, commerce) or equivalent experience.
- Change management experience
- Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills to build positive internal working relationships and deliver outcomes.
- An ability to work independently and prioritise varying demands from the function and handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
- Project management, planning, scheduling and execution skills.
